• The PUK code is written on the
subscription form (copy for customer)
handed at the subscription in the docomo
Shop. If you have subscribed at other than
docomo Shop, you should bring your offi
cial
identifi cation (such as driver's license),
the docomo nano UIM card with you to the
nearest docomo Shop or contact "docomo
Information Center" on the last page of this
manual.
■ PIN/password for screen lock
The security code is used for lock function of
the
cell phone
.
■ Network security code
The network security code is a 4-digit
number necessary for using the docomo
Network Services or identifi cation at
reception of your request in docomo Shop or
at docomo Information Center, or when using
" お客様サポート (customer support)". It can be
set to any number at the subscription and
also changed later by yourself.

PIN code
The docomo nano UIM card can set security
code named PIN code. This code is set to
"0000" at the time of subscription, but you
can subsequently change it.
PIN is a 4- to 8-digit number (code) that
must be entered for user confi rmation to
prevent unauthorized use of docomo nano
UIM card by a third party every time you
insert the docomo nano UIM card into the
cell phone
when the
cell phone
is powered on.
You can set entering the PIN code enables
making/receiving calls and
cell phone
operations.
• If you use a docomo nano UIM card that
has been currently used when you buy a
new
cell phone
, use the same PIN code
that had been set on the current
cell
phone
. The code is "0000" if the default
setting has not been changed.
• If you enter incorrect PIN code three times
in a row, the code will be locked. In that
case, unlock with "PIN unblocking key".
