1. Why won’t my client list load?
Check the internet connection. If the internet is working properly, either:
a. Select machine icon in top left . You will be taken back to the dispense page and will need to reselect
+ Add Color Formulation.
b. Close out of the app by swiping up twice and selecting clear all. Reopen the LG CHI ColorMaster App and
re Add Color Formulation on the dispense page.
2. How will I know if my formula is accurate?
If your formula dispense is over a predetermined range, the machine will stop dispensing once that has
occurred and a prompt will appear directing you to re-dispense.
If your formula dispense is under a predetermined range, the dispense will continue and once complete, the
formulation window will show ERROR. When you close out of the formulation window, the tab will show
“Continue to Dispense” allowing you to dispense the remaining amount needed. (pic)
3. How do I find my formula?
Once you have sent your formula to the machine, find your name in the queue on the dispense page. Select
your name and once it is highlighted in red, dispense your formula.
4. What if I accidentally select the wrong stylist?
Find the formula by searching for your clients name in the queue on the dispense page.
5. What if I put the wrong can in the machine?
Replace with the correct can and re-dispense formula as this could affect your formula.
6. How do I find a past formula for my client?
From the home screen, search client’s name in the search bar and select. Close out of keyboard… Scroll
through the client’s history until you find the service date that the formula was applied. Select the formula and
make adjustments if needed.
7. How many ounces can I dispense per formula?
The maximum amount is 8 ounces, which includes color and developer.
8. What if my formula fails to send?
Try to resend. If it fails to send again, check the internet/Wi-Fi connection.
9. How do I charge the tablet?
Make sure the tablet is connected to the power source within the machine.
