3. TECHNICAL BRIEF
3.1 Transceiver (SI4205-BM, U500)
The RF parts consist of a transmitter part, a receiver part, a frequency synthesizer part, a voltagesup-
ply part, and a VCTCXO part.
The Aero I transceiver is the integrated RF front end for multi-band GSM/GPRS digital cellularhand-
sets and wireless data modems. The integrated solution eliminates the IF SAW filter, externallow
noise amplifier (LNAs) for three bands, transmit and RF voltage controlled oscillator(VCOmodules,
and other discrete components found in conventional designs.
