7.8 Editing or deleting an event
You can an edit or delete an event that you created on the Desk Phone or on the web. You can
also edit or delete events created by others, if they have given you permission.
7.8.1 To edit an event
1. Open the summary of the event.
2. Press Menu button and touch Edit event .
The dialog display with 2 options:
- Change all events in the series.
- Change this and all future events.
The Event Details screen opens.
Press Menu button and touch Show extra options to add or edit event details.
3. Make your changes to the event.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and touch Done .
7.8.2 To delete an event
There are a number of ways to delete an event.

In Agenda view, touch an event to view its details. Then press Menu button and touch
Delete event .

In Day or Week view, touch & hold the event and touch Delete event in the menu that
opens.

While viewing the summary of an event, press Menu button and touch Delete event .

When editing an event, scroll to the bottom of the Event Details screen and touch Delete .
If the event repeats, you’re asked whether you want to delete just that occurrence, this and
all future occurrences, or all past and future occurrences in your Calendar.
7.9 Setting an event reminder
You can set one or more reminders for an event, whether or not you created the event or have
permission to edit its other details.
7.9.1 To set an event reminder
1. Open the event summary.
2. Touch the Plus button to add a reminder.
A new reminder is added, for 10 minutes before the event.
3. Touch the reminder time, and in the dialog that opens touch the length of time before the
event that you want to be reminded of it.
When the time comes, you receive a notification about the event.
