B31. INSIDE REAR VIEW MIRROR
Check that the inside rear view mirror
operation.
a) Push the power switch to select the “IG-
ON” mode, and check that the mode
indicator on the inside rear view
mirror illuminates (“AUTO” mode).
b) Check that the mode changes between
“AUTO” mode (mode indicator on) and
“DAY” mode (mode indicator off) al-
ternately by pushing the “AUTO” switch.
c) Turn the interior light to the “ON” posi-
tion and cover the rear view mirror for-
ward light sensor (located in front side
of mirror). The rear view mirror and both
outside mirrors should darken. When the
interior light is “OFF” and your finger is
removed, the mirrors should be brighten.

OPENER
Check the Home Link
®
garage door opener
by pressing each of the three buttons and ob-
serving that the indicator light illuminates. Final
operational check requires programming.
B33. OVERHEAD CONSOLE BOX
Check that the overhead console box
opens and closes smoothly.
SAFETY CONNECT®
Inspect the Safety Connect LED (located in the
overhead console) for a green activation in-
dicator. If green LED is not illuminated,
press the SOS button once, wait for voice
prompt, and press the button again within 5
seconds. If successful, tones will be heard
followed by voice prompt saying "Activation
is complete - Good bye". Green light will
change from off to green after call has ended.
If the green light does not illuminate, please
refer to TIS for troubleshooting proceedures.
