2. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing a LEVITAS air cell cushion by Moretti S.p.A. product range. Moretti
cushions have been designed and manufactured to meet all your needs for practical, correct
and safe use. This user’s manual provides some suggestions as how to correctly use the
product you have chosen and gives some valuable advice for your safety. Please read through
the manual carefully before using the product. Should you have any queries, please contact
your retailer for advice and assistance. In case of doubts, we recommend to contact the dealer
who can help and advice you properly.
3. INTENDED USE
The LEVITAS by Moretti air cell cushion is conceived for the patient balance and for the
protection against bed sores and tissue injuries. It guarantees an undifferentiated weight
distribution, thanks to the pressure support in every position. The cushion follows the body of
the patient and the ischemic parts can sink into it.
Who can use the air cells cushion?
- Everyone who has problems being seated.
- Wheelchair users.
- Anyone that need to stay seated for a long period (e.g. the aftercare of an incident or an
illness, elderly people, etc.).
- Anyone risking to develop pressure sores.
- Anyone has to adjust pelvic obliquity.
