3-10-2. Tag-based Group
Function name:
Tag-based Group Configuration
Function description:
It shows the information of existed Tag-based VLAN Groups, You can also
easily create, edit and delete a Tag-based VLAN group by pressing
<Add>
,
<Edit>
and
<Delete>
function buttons. User can add a new VLAN group by
inputting a new VLAN name and VLAN ID.
Parameter description:
VLAN Name:
The name defined by administrator is associated with a VLAN group.
Valid letter is A-Z, a-z and 0-9. Other special characters will not be
accepted. The maximal length is 15 characters.
VID:
VLAN identifier. Each tag-based VLAN group has a unique VID. It
appears only in tag-based and Double-tag mode.
SYM-VLAN:
While the SYM-VLAN function of the group is enabled, all packets with
this group VID will be dropped in case they are transmitted from the ports
that do not belong to this group.
Member:
This is used to enable or disable if a port is a member of the new added
VLAN, “Enable” means it is a member of the VLAN. Just tick the check
box (
)
beside the port x to enable it.
