PLAYBACK FILE MENU
The playback player’s file menu allows you to open a record database, update a record database,
backup a record data base and exit the player. A record database is a file that has recorded footage on
it. To access the record database file, make sure the playback player is open and go to “file.”
To open a record database:
1. Select “file” in the playback player.
2. Select open record DB.
3. A browse screen will appear; navigate to the area that the record database is stored.
4. Find the file that you would like to open and double click it, you can also highlight it and
select OK.
5. The file will then open in the player with the list of files along the side.
6. To return to the main record database select “file”
→
“return to main record DB.”
To refresh record database:
Refreshing the record database uploads the most recently recorded footage into the database. To
refresh the database select “file”
→
”update record DB. “
Backing up record Database:
Backing up record database allows you to save the precious moments that you have captured to a safe
spot on your computer or to a USB drive.
1. Select “file”
→
“Backup record DB.”
2. A browse screen will appear; navigate to the area that you would like to backup the footage to
and select OK.
3. The player will then back up the record database to your specified area; this may take a
few minutes.
4. To view the footage after recording it follow the open record database instructions.
5. If you are viewing it on a different computer make sure that the computer you are using has the
playback program installed.
