Run clear tubing (supplied) from the “Low” port of the gauge through the installed grommet(s).
NOTE:  Spray some WD-40 on the clear tubing to ease penetration thru the grommet.

Re-connect power to the unit.

ELECTRICAL

All Air Pod 115V, single-phase units, have a toggle switch located on the top of the unit.  The 230/1 phase

and all three-phase units have the wiring terminated inside of a junction box located on the end of the unit unless
specially ordered otherwise.

The electrician to the line side of the end user power supply must connect the

wires extending from the junction box.

Motor starters and disconnects are not supplied with the unit, unless

ordered as an option.  If these devices are user supplied, they must meet local and National Electrical Code
standards and recommendations.  Motors are typically of the multiple voltage type (e.g. 115/230 or 208/230/480).
Make sure connections in motor junction box correspond to the line voltage you plan to use.  Motor starters
(manual or magnetic type) must have properly sized thermal overloads for the voltage and current required for the
motor.

Motor checkout should be performed with the unit running and all filters in place.

Be sure that the motor current

readings are equal to or below motor nameplate rating.  These specifications can be found on the motor itself or are
provided in the Specifications Section of this manual.

WARNING

BE SURE THAT SOURCE POWER HAS BEEN DISCONNECTED AND LOCKED OUT BEFORE
ELECTRICALLY CONNECTING THE UNIT.

SINGLE PHASE MOTOR -  AIR POD I and AIR POD IIA

Models Air Pod I and Air Pod IIA come standard with a power cord suitable for plugging into a standard 3-wire,

115 Volt AC, single phase grounded outlet, and draws 10 Amps of current. The outlet must have this much current
available. The standard motor used in the Air Pod I and Air Pod IIA is a two speed, 115 Volt, 3/4 HP, single phase,
as shown in the wiring schematic in Figure 11. (Note:  Toggle switch chart corresponds with Figure 11.) The motor
is also available in 208/230 volt and 460 volt single phase configurations, shown
in Figure 12.
