9.1.2 Cable length as a function of the data rate
Only shielded and twisted pair lines (pin 1 with 2 and pin 3 with 4) are permitted as data
lines for the SSI interface (see chapter 9.2 "SSI - electrical connection").

The shielding must be connected at both ends.

Do not lay the cable parallel to power cables.
The maximum possible cable length is dependent on the cable used and the clock rate:
