Slide the TwinTube
[A]
shank into the
receiver with the 5 inch rise positioned
above the hitch as shown. Align the
mounting hole with Spring Nut
[H]
installed in the receiver hitch. [Fg.4]
Insert the Silent Hitch Pin
[C]
with Lock
Washer
[E]
& Flat Washer
[F]
into the
receiver hole and thread through the
Spring Nut
[H]
as shown. Tighten (30 ft.lbs. torque) and secure with
Lock
[B]
. [Fg.5]
NOTE:
Optional Large Retainer Clips
[**]
can be used instead of the
Lock
[B]
if you choose not to lock your carrier.
Remove the Spring Nuts
[H]
from the
Silent Hitch Pins
[C & D]
and install
the Spring Nuts into the TwinTube
Spine
[A]
as shown. [Fg.1-3]
The shank tube end contains two
mounting holes. [Fg.2] Use the
second hole in from the
end. If more clearance is
needed, use the first hole
in from the end.
NOTE:
User may choose
either Twintube hole
opposite the shank end.
