3.2.
Preparation
•
Switch the rotary switch S1 and S2 for 230 V and 24 V OFF (vertical switch position).
•
Connect the mains cable.
•
Connect the inverter switching system IO via Sub-D cable to the devices A and B.
•
Connect the engineering PC (not part of delivery) via patch or crossover cable (RJ45 plug) at con-
nector X2 “Ethernet” with the integrated Ethernet switch.
•
Switch all toggle switches on the switching system IO for the inputs and outputs at device A and
B to the OFF position. For more information, refer to the description of the switching system IO
in chapter 3.5.
•
Remove the SD card of the i950 and save in the main folder a ASCII file “ip.txt” with following
settings of the communication (example of device A):
192.168.5.
101
255.255.255.0
192.168.5.1
Use for the two devices i950 in the first line the different host address 101 and 102 (highlighted
in red). Please plug the SD card back in the device.
•
Check and if required adapted the communication settings on your engineering PC the Ethernet
interface to the address range of the i950. Observe that an active Firewall cannot influence the
communication.
3.3.
Switch on
•
In order to operate the supply power to the device A and B (T1 and T2), the controller c300 (C1),
the switching system IO and the Ethernet switch, switch the rotary switch for 24 V ON.
•
Start on the engineering PC the EASY Starter (
minimum EASY license “Advanced”
recommended). Add via Ethernet connection the i950 in the device list. Check the following
parameters:

•
Switch the rotary switch S1 for 230 V ON, the contact for supplying power to the inverter i950
closes audibly.
•
Commission the devices in the teachware case carefully with the help of the documentation for
the inverter i950 and controller c300.
