External voltage supply
• The external voltage supply can be used to establish EtherNet/IP communication for
commissioning and to query the data of the digital and analog inputs.
• Furthermore, the external voltage supply serves to maintain EtherNet/IP communication if the
main supply fails.
• The digital inputs RFR, DI1 ... DI5 and the analog input can continue to be evaluated.
• The external voltage supply is done via the terminals 24E and GND of the terminal strip X3.
• Permissible voltage (DC) / max. current:
• U = 24 V DC (20 V - 0 % ... 29 V + 0 %)

• Access to parameters of a device that is disconnected from the mains is not possible.
