7. Coat the lower baking tin of the
appliance with a little butter. For this
purpose, for example, use a brush.
Also butter the top of the sandwiches
in advance. Thereby the sandwiches
are particularly crispy and evenly
browned.

8. Now place the sandwiches on the
bottom baking pan.

9. Close the device again by com-
pletely squeezing both parts of the
handle together. The housing cover
must be able to close without much
effort. So, do not place too thick
sandwiches.
10. Open the lid only after 1 minute to
check. Too frequent opening of the lid
will cool down the device more quickly
and affect even browning.

11. The ideal preparation time varies
depending on the recipe, the desired
degree of browning and the type of
toast used.

12. The sandwiches can be removed
after preparation with a suitable,
heat-resistant wood or plastic spatula.
Be careful not to scratch the baking
pan.

 WARNING!

After taking out, the sandwiches are
very hot, and the filling also can be
very hot! Allow the sandwiches to cool
sufficiently before consumption.

13. To prepare further sandwiches,
close the device again and wait
until the device reaches the required
temperature (see point 3) and start
again from point 6.

 NOTE!

Please note that the next sandwiches
may be prepared in less time as the
baking molds will retain some of the
heat. It is possible that few baking
rounds are required to get the best
results.

14. After use, disconnect the device
from the mains by pulling the plug out
of the socket.

15. Let the appliance cool to room
temperature before cleaning and / or
stowing it.

10. Cleaning and care

WARNING!

There is a risk of electric shock due to
current-carrying parts.

- Pull out the power plug completely
before cleaning.

- Do not immerse the appliance in
water or other liquids.

- If the appliance falls in the liquid, do
not grab it in any circumstances. Pull
out the power plug first.
