6. Reinstall the computer stand.
7. Place the computer in an upright position.
8. Reconnect the ac power adapter and all disconnected cables to the computer.
Note: If a locking device is available, use it to lock the computer.
Internal speakers
Prerequisite
Before you start, read Appendix A “Important safety information” on page 53 and print the following
instructions.
Replacement procedure
1. Remove the computer stand. See “Computer stand” on page 41.
2. Remove the computer cover. See “Computer cover” on page 43.
3. Disconnect the internal-speaker cable from the system board.
4. Replace the internal speakers.
5. Connect the new internal-speaker cable to the system board.
6. Reinstall the removed parts. Then, reconnect the ac power adapter and all disconnected cables to the
computer.
