Masonry chimneys may take 
various contours which the 
fl exible liners will accomodate. 
However, keep the fl exible liner as 
STRAIGHT as possible and avoid 
unnecessary bending.

9) After liner is secured to draft hood collar, use the tool provided to slide 
it forward (aligning with guide brackets) until the screw hole in the spill 
tube aligns with the screw hole in the top of the fi rebox (see Figure 12).  
Secure two parts in place with removed screw. While pulling draft hood 
forward, push the insert.

While pushing the unit 
back into place, use the

draft hood forward until 
screw hole in spill tube 
aligns with screw hole 
in top of the fi rebox.
