Table 5. Normal Operating Pressures (10 and S5 psig)
IMPORTANT
Use this table to perform maintenance checks; it is not a procedure for
charging the system. Minor variations in these pressures may be due to
differences in installations. Significant deviations could mean that the system
is not properly charged or that a problem exists with some component in the
system.

*Temperature of the air entering the outside coil.
**Typical pressures; indoor unit match up, indoor air quality equipment, and indoor load causes pressure variance
INSTALLING SERVICE VALVE CAPS
Disconnect gauge set and re−install both the liquid and
suction service valve caps.

System Operation
The outdoor unit and indoor blower cycle are on demand
from the room thermostat. When the thermostat blower
switch is in the
ON
position, the indoor blower operates
continuously.
Maintenance
WARNING
Electric shock hazard. Can cause
injury or death. Before attempting to
perform any service or maintenance,
turn the electrical power to unit OFF at
disconnect switch(es). Unit may have
multiple power supplies.
WARNING
Improper installation, adjustment, alteration,
service or maintenance can cause personal injury,
loss of life, or damage to property.
Installation and service must be performed by a
licensed professional installer (or equivalent) or a
service agency.
At the beginning of each cooling season, the system
should be checked as follows:
