- Turn the wrenching bolt to the left to reduce ground
pressure; the mower will exert less pressure onto the
ground.
- Turn the wrenching bolt to the right to increase ground
pressure; the mower will exert more pressure onto the
ground.
- In even fields the nominal system pressure will be 70 bar.
- The steel spring (fig. 70) can be adjusted in such a way that
the left-hand and right-hand side of the mower are lowered
onto the ground almost simultaneously.
4.2 Mowing height
- Adjust the mowing height by adjusting the forward
inclination of the cutter bar with the aid of the top link (fig.
6).
- The mowing height can be adjusted by shortening or
extending the top link. If the headstock is in a vertical
position, the mowing height will be approx. 6 cm.
- During mowing operations the red valve (transport lock)
should always be OPENED.
- During mowing operations the handles in the tractor should
always be closed (intermediate position).
- On headlands the machine can be lifted by operating the
double acting valve. The machine will automatically stop
lifting at approx. 20 degrees over ground level. To lower
the machine again, the double acting valve should be
adjusted to the position required for lowering. As soon as
the mower reaches the ground, the handle should be
adjusted to the closed position again (intermediate
position).
4.3 Intensity of conditioning
The intensity of conditioning can be adjusted by means of the
conditioner’s crop inlet plate and through the rotor speed.
Adjust the crop inlet plate.
Position A (fig. 7) ensures the highest intensity of
conditioning, whereas it is lowest when the crop inlet plate is
adjusted to the B position. There are two intermediate
positions for conditioning
