4.5.3 Cosmix Service Interface
The service interface of the concentrate feeder is the web interface of the
ADS3830 PCB. The interface is accessible with an internet browser.
The service interface enables changes to be made to all the device
settings except the IP-address.
The service interface has the following worksheets:
• Version.
• Settings.
• Table data.
•
Raw data.
•
Help.
•
Test.
The worksheets 'Table data', 'Raw data', 'Help' and 'Test' are only used by
service engineers.
4.6 Operation
4.6.1 Identification
A cow enters the concentrate feeder.
Qwes ISO neck Identification System
When the cow moves her head to the feed bin, the antenna in the ID
reader reads the tag. The ID reader sends the data of the tag to the
ADS3830 PCB.
Qwes IR Identification system
The photocell on the control box detects the presence of a cow and
activates the ID reader. The Xenon flash light in the ID reader starts to
flash. The infrared reader reads the data from the cow's tag and sends
the data to the ADS3830 PCB. Then the flash light and the reader are
switched OFF.
Qwes ISO leg Identification System
The floor antenna from the ID reader reads the tag of the cow. The ID
reader sends the data of the tag to the ADS3830 PCB.
The cow ID is verified by the database present on the ADS3830 PCB.
4.6.2 Feeding
The control system identifies the cow and synchronizes its information
with other concentrate feeders via T4C. Based on the information for the
specific cow, the feed credit is calculated. If the cow has feed credit the
control system opens the lock from the dosing unit(s) to provide the
specific mix of concentrates for the cow.
