ADC-6801 CAV to SDI

Converter Module

Overview

The ADC-6801 addresses the requirements of broadcasters and video
professionals for component analog-to digital 4:2:2 conversion. It
provides ten-bit (or optionally eight-bit) conversions from 525 and 625
line analog component signals to SMPTE 259-C serial digital video. The
ADC-6801 supports the following standards:

• SMPTE/EBU GBR and YPbPr

• NTSC-related GBR

• MII-related GBR and YPbPr

• BETACAM YPbPr in 625 and 525 line standards, with and without

setup as appropriate.
