LEISTER WELDPLAST 200-i, 600-i
Built-in extruder module
Read through the operating instructions before starting for the first time. Keep
these operating instructions with the device at all times.
Do not pass the device onto anyone else without the operating instructions.
In addition to the safety instructions contained in the individual chapters of these operating instructions, the
following provisions must also be followed.
Congratulations on your purchase of the WELDPLAST 200-i, 600-i.
You have chosen a first-class, built-in extruder module.
It has been developed and produced in accordance with the very latest standards of technology in the plas-
tics-processing industry. It has also been manufactured using high-quality materials.

Caution
Danger to life
Before opening the device, disconnect it from the power supply, because
voltage-bearing components and connections will be exposed when it is opened.
Electrically conductive materials (e.g., PE-EL) must not be welded.
Danger of fire and explosion
If the extruder is used improperly, there is potential danger for an explosion (e.g., due
to the material overheating), particularly in the vicinity of flammable materials and
explosive gases. The industrial extruder must not be used in areas with explosion
and/or ignition hazards. The connection cables and welding rod must be able to move
freely and must not hinder the user or third parties while working.
Risk of burning
Do not touch exposed metal parts or material while they are hot. Allow the device
to cool down. Do not point the hot air flow or escaping material at people or
animals. Connect the device with a protective conductor. Any interruption of the
protective conductor inside or outside of the device is dangerous.
A residual-current device is
required
for personnel protection when using the
device.
The nominal voltage
specified on the device must match the
supply voltage
. If
the power supply fails, then the main switch and the drive must be switched off.
Protect the device
from moisture and wet conditions.
The device
may only be used under supervision
. Heat can reach flammable
materials that are not in view.
Device may be operated and serviced only by
trained specialists
or under their
supervision. Children are not permitted to operate the device.
