LEISTER WELDPLAST 200-i, 600-i

Built-in extruder module

Read through the operating instructions before starting for the first time. Keep
these operating instructions with the device at all times.
Do not pass the device onto anyone else without the operating instructions.

In addition to the safety instructions contained in the individual chapters of these operating instructions, the

following provisions must also be followed.

Congratulations on your purchase of the WELDPLAST 200-i, 600-i.

You have chosen a first-class, built-in extruder module.
It has been developed and produced in accordance with the very latest standards of technology in the plas-

tics-processing industry. It has also been manufactured using high-quality materials.

Warning

Caution

Danger to life

Before opening the device, disconnect it from the power supply, because

voltage-bearing components and connections will be exposed when it is opened.

Electrically conductive materials (e.g., PE-EL) must not be welded.

Danger of fire and explosion

If the extruder is used improperly, there is potential danger for an explosion (e.g., due

to the material overheating), particularly in the vicinity of flammable materials and

explosive gases. The industrial extruder must not be used in areas with explosion

and/or ignition hazards. The connection cables and welding rod must be able to move

freely and must not hinder the user or third parties while working.

Risk of burning

Do not touch exposed metal parts or material while they are hot. Allow the device

to cool down. Do not point the hot air flow or escaping material at people or

animals. Connect the device with a protective conductor. Any interruption of the

protective conductor inside or outside of the device is dangerous.

A residual-current device is

required

for personnel protection when using the

device.

The nominal voltage

specified on the device must match the

supply voltage

. If

the power supply fails, then the main switch and the drive must be switched off.

Protect the device

from moisture and wet conditions.

The device

may only be used under supervision

. Heat can reach flammable

materials that are not in view.

Device may be operated and serviced only by

trained specialists

 or under their

supervision. Children are not permitted to operate the device.
