Assembling the condensers for the tiltable transmit-
ted light illuminator arm

All condensers from the Leica DMi8 series with a tiltable
transmitted light illuminator arm are equipped with a 7x
turret disk and can be individually equipped with the cor-
responding ring diaphragms for phase contrast (PH), dark
field (DF) or IC prisms for transmitted light differential inter-
ference contrast (DIC).
Usually the light rings and condenser prisms have already
been inserted into the turret disk at the factory, eliminating
the need for subsequent assembly. For more information,
