2. Inspect the spark electrodes for wear or combustion deposits.
Clean or replace if necessary.
3. Check the spark plug gap and adjust if necessary.
Gap to 0.5mm (0.020 in)
4. Install the spark plug finger tight, then torgue to 25.0 N•m or (18.4 ft•lbs)
5. Install the spark plug lead securely to the plug.
The boot should touch the hex of the plug when on all the way.
1. Remove the upper engine cover.
Remove the rubber spark plug boot .
Remove spark plug by using the spark plug wrench provided in the
tool kit, the handle of this tool is shaped specifically to access the
spark plug. Most universal tools will not work.
