The center rod which stabilizes the clamping collar is attached to the rear link of
the clamping collar by a cardan joint and to the stabilator by the center bolt.
To compensate the difference of length during oscillating, the stabilator is
mounted movable to the base frame by two guiding blocks, which are also
transferring the torque to the base and consequently to the excavator attachment.
The two lifting cylinders can be operated individually, to make it possible to
adjust the casing to the right or left.
Both cylinders are equipped with spherical bearings on the piston and the rod -
side. This design guarantees the full movability of the clamping collar during
boring.

The stroke of the oscillating cylinders and so the oscillating angle is controlled
by a 4/2-valve on the left hand oscillating cylinder.
The point of switching and so the stroke of the oscillating cylinders, is given by
two stop ends. These stop ends are factory – set!
The base frame is equipped with a retaining device, which consists of two
retaining cylinders and a ring segment.
These two retaining cylinder are operated simultaneous to press the ring segment
onto the casing while the clamping collar is opened during extracting of casings.
