AGP Aperture Size (MB)
Select the size of the Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) aperture. The aperture is a portion of the
PCI memory address range dedicated for graphics memory address space. Host cycles that hit
the aperture range are forwarded to the AGP without any translation. See www.agpforum.org
for APG information.
The choice: 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, and 256MB
Memory Hole at 15M-16M
You can reserve this area of system memory for ISA adapter ROM. When this area is reserved,
it cannot be cached. The user information of peripherals that need to use this area of system
memory usually discusses their memory requirements.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
Spread Spectrum
When the system clock generator pulses, the extreme values of the pulse generate excess EMI.
Enabling pulse spectrum spread modulation changes the extreme values from spikes to flat
curves, thus reducing EMI. This benefit may in some cases be outweighed by problems with
timing-critical devices, such as a clock-sensitive SCSI device. You can reduce EMI by setting
this item to turn on the clock signal with spread spectrum support.
The choice: Enabled, Disabled.
CPU Host Clock (CPU/PCI)
Select Default or select a timing combination for the CPU and the PCI bus. When set to Default,
the BIOS uses the actual CPU and PCI bus clock values.
SDRAM Loading
There are five choices of Very light, Light, Medium, Heavy and Very heavy for this item.
Because the quality of SDRAM is various on the market, the loading of SDRAM will not be the
same especially when it is running at high frequency such as 100 MHz. These choices will help
your motherboard to use almost all of the SDRAMs.
