9. STORAGE
To protect the shredder from corrosion when storing for a longer period, treat the cutting
blade with environmentally-friendly oil.
10. TROUBLE SHOOTING
PROBLEM CAUSE ACTION
The motor does not run Safety lock. Tighten the hand screw
firmly.
Power failure. Check the power supply
cable, the plug and the
house fuse.
The material to be chopped
is not drawn in The material is jammed in
the feeding funnel. Switch the shredder OFF.
Pull the material from the
feed funnel. Switch the
shredder back ON and re-
feed thick branches such
that the blade does not
immediately engage the pre-
cut notches again.
Shredding material is too
soft. Insert wood or shred dried
branches.
The cutting blade is blocked. Loosen the hand screw,
open the shredder and
remove the material that
causes the blockage.
