INSTALLATION
The powered stage monitor LD MON 101 A is intended to listen to a part of the signal or to the whole signal on
stage outside of the audible range of the PA-system. During operation the system must be placed on to the rubber
feet. Please check for enough distance between integrated amplifer and walls, racks etc. to prevent from overhea-
ting (min. 50 cm).
Please take care that the power and the speaker / input wiring are accurate. Please use only undamaged cables
(for the power connection VOLEX cables are recommended) as well as only completely unrolled cable reels. Please
check the wiring for any kind of trip hazard etc. to prevent any kind of accidence or damage (Gaffa-Tape). Please
do not install the items directly beside an edge like a stage border.
It is recommended to switch the system to ON as the last one and to OFF as the first one to prevent start-up noise
caused by a connected devices like mixer etc..
OPERATING
The main level of the LD MON 101 A can be adjusted. The final main level should be adjusted at the source device
(mixer etc.). The speaker disposes of a symmetrical XLR input as well as a symmetrical TRS input (6.3 mm). The
LD MON 101 A is equipped with a symmetrical XLR output to pass the signal through as well as with a VOLEX 240
V seat to pass the power supply through to another device. This makes it easy to connect multiple monitors to a
cluster in order to increase max. SPL or to extend the audible range.
The connection and operating elements of LD MON 101 A are shown on the last page.
Because of the small size of the LD MON 101 A it is suited very well for the use of multiply stage monitors (cluster)
for one audible range (parallel or half-circled configuration).
The power supply pass through is not inted to connect any number of other devices. It is recommended to connect
only another LD MON101A (max. 7 more items) .
