step: Adjusting the sensors
For reversible barriers, sensors are used to slow down the boom’s movement before reaching the
barrier’s open and closed positions.
This is a drawing of a barrier in normal direction, in the case of a barrier in the reverse direction, the sensor positions
are reversed.
➢
Opening sensor setting
1-
Set the sensor so that it is activated (the sensor’s light must be on) at approximately 10°
before the vertical position (90°)
2-
The barrier must reach the stop slowly
3-
When you have reached the ideal setting, tighten the nut on the detection cam side using a 17
mm spanner
➢
Closing sensor setting
1-
Set the sensor so that it is activated (the sensor’s light must be on) at approximately 10°
before the horizontal position (0°)
2-
The barrier must reach the stop slowly
3-
When you have reached the ideal setting, tighten the nut using a 17 mm spanner
➢
Closed position sensor setting
1-
Insert a wedge of approximately 5 mm under the closing stop
2-
Adjust the position of the sensor so that it is at the detection limit (activated)
3-
When you have reached the ideal setting, tighten the nut using a 17 mm spanner
