7. Maintenance

7.2

Updating Firmware

It is important that all system components are running the correct firmware including all of the control surface
modules. This is handled by a firmware update tool, called SoP Explorer, which is included with the ON-AIR
Designer installer.

The current revision of each system component (Surface, System and IOs) can be checked and, if necessary,
updated by transferring files from a networked computer. Full details on how to use the tool can be found in your
the DSP Core manual.
