The machine can calculate and display discounted prices in response to activation of an
externally accessible signal. The signal can be connected to a time-controlled relay or switch,
such that discounts can be turned on and off at desired times. Refer to the product installation
manual for information regarding connecting this signal to activate discounts.
Two discount modes are available:
• Round up to the next multiple of Coin 1 Value (typically 0.25).
• Round to the nearest unit (useful with card payment systems).
To set the discount mode and the discount that will be applied to the price:
• Remove the coin box and press the Service Switch inside the vault.
• Press the Heavy Soil and Extra Rinse buttons at the same time. The
display shows the "discount mode ("0" or "1") in the left-most digit and the
current discount rate in the 2 right-most digits.
• Press the Start button. The display and active button LED's blink.
• Press the Cold program button to change the discount mode:
“00” = discounted price rounded up to the next multiple of coin 1 value.
“01” = discounted price rounded to the nearest unit. (Useful for card systems).
• Press the Hot program button to reduce the discount percentage or the Delicate program
button to increase the discount percentage.
• Press the Start button to save the new values.
• Press the Service Switch inside the coin vault to exit service mode.
