5.6 Every 50 Operating Hours
Check deck alignment and belt tension.
Check deck drive belt alignment.
Grease all blade spindle bearing housings.
Fill until
grease purges from the weep hole in the side of the
bearing housing.
Inspect all bushings for wear. Replace as needed.
Inspect gearbox pivot stop bolts, wear pad, and
bushings. Replace or adjust as needed.
Check and clean, if necessary, any debris that may
have accumulated during operation.
Check gearbox lube level and condition.
5.7 Every 200 Operating Hours
Change the gearbox oil
(28 ounces SAE 80W-90
Grade gear oil).
5.8 Every 500 Operating Hours
Inspect all blade spindle bearings for wear or dam-
age. Replace if needed.
Inspect and re-pack all wheel bearings. Replace if
needed.
Inspect all component parts and wear points.
Repair or replace any worn, damaged, or missing
parts.
5.9 Annual
Replace gearbox shaft seals.
Change the gearbox oil
(28 ounces SAE 80W-90
Grade Gear Oil).
Replace deck pivot pins and bushings.
Lastec recommends using the optional 124792 Deck
Rebuild Kit annually.
When installing the kit, complete the 8, 50, 200, and 500
Hour Maintenance Checklists.
