Laser circle
The laser circle is a targeting aid to sight the location for the infrared
measurement. Temperature measurement is only performed on the
surface within the laser circle. Please ensure that the space between
the instrument and surface to be measured is free of disturbances
(steam, gas, contamination, glass).

The MAX display determines the maximum measured
value within the context of a continuous measurement
(keep trigger button pressed). As soon as you release the
trigger button and press it again to start a new measure-
ment, the MAX value will be reset and the instrument will
start the process of recording the maximum measured
value all over again.
