MAINTENANCE AND DISMANTLEMENT
MAINTENANCE PRECAUTIONS
CAUTION :
Before cleaning, disconnect electric power, otherwise the manufac-
turer's guarantee is lost.
- Make sure that the water does not contain ferrous residues, because they deposit on the
bottom of the tank and cause serious corrosion damages. Any very acid chlorine detergents
may cause such damages, too.
Dishwashers are part of the food supply cycle and are therefore subject to the provi-
sions envisaged under law 155/97 on HACCP.
- Never use steel wools or products containing chlorine.
- Never use pointed objects that may cut and ruin steel areas.
- Never use corrosive products for cleaning the floor near or under the appliance.
- Never wash the appliance externally with jets of water.
Any malfunction should be timely notified to the installer and/or retailer, who will provide
the appropriate maintenance instructions.
An authorized technician should check the appliance at least twice a year. Entering into a
maintenance contract would be advisable.
DAILY CLEANING
- At the end of the working day, switch off the appliance, disconnect the master power
switch and close the main water supply tap installed upstream the appliance.
- Clean stainless steel areas with water and common non-abrasive detergents, rinse and dry
carefully.
- Make sure that detergent and rinse aid are present.
