plasterboard on the same slots (as the cooling air passage is
blocked): position the profile at a greater height than the slots
themselves.
AIR INTAKES IN THE COVERING
To avoid overheating of the appliance it is mandatory to carry out
inside the structure that covers the chimney, a recirculation of air with
one or more openings in the lower and upper part of the cladding.
The measures to be respected are the following:
- cold air inlet taken from the environment on the lower part of
minimum total area 450 cm²
- hot air outlet of natural convection on the upper part of
minimum total area 450 cm² - 500 cm² .
IMPORTANT: this convective air outlet section is used
to vent the heat from the cladding, it does not include
the ducted air outlet pipes which must therefore be
added and calculated separately.
INSPECTION DOOR
Each pellet fireplace model requires a mandatory inspection door for
ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of the appliance of at
least
50x140 cm.
CONNECTING PIPES HOT AIR FANS
When the fans are present, they must be connected to air distribution
nozzles.
It is forbidden, subject to warranty termination, not
to connect the air hoses as shown in the following
diagram.
It is strictly forbidden to move the electrical
components and the smoke extractor at a later date, as
long as the guarantee is declined. It is an operation that
must be done exclusively at the factory or an authorized
service center.
According to the models respect the following indications.
APOLLO 15. ORION 13, SIRIUS 11:
air fireplaces with front glass
(1) AIR ENTRY IN THE COATING
: it is obligatory to always ensure a
minimum ventilation inlet and outlet in the coating through a grid at the
bottom and a grid above (decompression) of
at least 450 cm2 each
.
They can be done frontally, laterally or even later, provided that the
circle of air entering and leaving is always inside the house (and not
outside).
(2) INSPECTION DOOR:
to load the
pellets
into
the
tank,
periodic
maintenance as well as annual cleaning
of the chimney flue, spare parts, it is
mandatory to leave the electronic
components on the side (as standard to
right, looking at the chimney from the
front) a sufficient inspection door to
access all the components of
at least
50x140
cm in height.
(3) HOT AIR FAN SIDE CHANNEL:
the
appliance is supplied with a lateral centrifugal fan of 160 m3 / h with a
hot air outlet of Ø 80 mm to channel (maximum distance of 6 meters).
The fan can be managed by remote control client (VENT-3) from
speed 0 (stop) to 5 (max) or automatic. For optimal installation, we
recommend using thermally and acoustically insulated pipes to ensure
the best acoustic and thermal comfort.
(4) HIGHER PIPING OF THE HOT AIR FAN:
the unit is supplied with
a tangential rear fan of 260 m3 / h which pushes the hot air towards
two top Ø 80 mm which must be ducted on the hood up to a maximum
distance of 1.5 meters. The fan is not manageable by the customer
but starts automatically when the device is at temperature and is
automatically adjusted according to the combustion power.
Refer to the following diagram to make the correct connections for the
upper air connections. The hot air from the tangential fan comes out
of the two "A" nozzles Ø 80 mm: they must be connected to the hood
at a maximum distance of 1.5 meters. Two "B" entries of Ø 150 mm
come out of natural convection hot air (not forced): they must remain
free, the hot air will then come out of the decompression grid provided
