MOUNTING

The pole used with the TPM-GL20004-12C-1227-10C is the ALU-P-158. The pole is adjustable from 4 feet

to 9.08 feet with the Golight attached and from 3.19 feet to 8.35 feet with the Golight removed. The pole

mount allows the light to be easily installed and/or removed and stored from the top of the pole. The TPM-

GL20004-12C-1227-10C also includes a mounting bracket that allows operators to install the light in their

required location. The mount bracket features four predrilled holes for mounting to any flat vertical surface.

Once the mounting bracket is installed, the pole is then slipped into the bracket and secured with a T-

handle bolt.

POLE

OPERATION

This aluminum pole can be easily raised or lowered to any desired position between the maximum
extension and the retracted position. This pole has a built-in safety mechanism to prevent the load
from falling rapidly, even with the 40 pound maximum load.

EXTENDING THE POLE

It is recommended to raise the sections from top to bottom.

1. Hold on to the lower section with one hand.
2. Use another hand to raise an upper section.
3. Let go at the desired height. The pole will stay in the position until it is further raised OR lowered

by the steps below.

LOWERING THE POLE

It is recommended to lower the sections from bottom to top.

1. Hold on to a lower section with one hand.
2. Place the thumb of the other hand on the locking ring over the upward-pointing arrow to push

the locking ring up slightly. The load will fall down naturally.

3. Let go of the locking ring at the desired height. The load will stop falling instantly.

WARNING

1. The pole must be mounted vertically AND securely.
2. DO NOT buckle any pole section as to deform the pole.
3. DO NOT allow grease to get on the outside of the pole.
4. MAXIMUM load is 40 lbs. DO NOT OVERLOAD THE POLE.
