The procedure below is recommended if, for any reason, the trailing ring referred to
under "General" sits so markedly on the shaft that the brake torque significantly
reduces:
Remove ventilation cover 7 and end plate 5, pull off the circumferential brake part 4
using the pull-off device or ventilate the brake by applying voltage and remove the
circumferential brake part. Coat the toothing and shaft with Optimoly PL and
assemble parts 4, 5, and 7 again.
