Click on Serial Settings. For protocol, select “RS485 – 2 wire”. For Baud Rate, select “9600”.
Everything else on this window remains unchanged. Click the “OK” button when done.

Click on Connection (Figure 19). Change the “Endpoint Configuration: Local Port:” to
“3001”. Everything else on this window remains unchanged. Click the “OK” button. Click on
Apply Settings to save the new settings. Exit out of Lantronix DeviceInstaller.

To check the settings, completely exit Lantronix DeviceInstaller. Turn off and then turn on
power to the UDS1100. Restart Lantronix DeviceInstaller. Check all the settings you
changed in the previous steps.
