6.2 Tributary loop on the “B” port
The tributary loop on the port “B” is set up by actuating the switch No. 9 belonging to the
CONFIGURATION group of switches. Closing of the loop is signaled by blinking of the AIS
diode of the port B. Simultaneously, the AIS signal is sent from the output of “A” port.
