To Assemble the Auger to the Power Head
Insert the drive shaft of the power head into the collar of the auger assembly.
Align the hole in the auger shaft with the hole in the power head shaft. Completely insert the
bolt into the holes, put the R-pin through the holes on the bolt to lock. There may be some
wiggle in the connection; this is normal. If the connection is too tight, disassembly may be
difficult. (See Fig. 3 & Fig. 4)
Installation and Removal of the Battery
1. Completely insert the battery into the power head along the card slot until the battery button
bounces up. (See Fig. 5 & Fig. 6)
2. To remove the battery, press the battery button with the thumb, grab other sides of battery
with other four fingers, and then pull the battery out.
OPERATION
The Landworks Earth Auger or Ice Auger is operated using the 48 volt lithium ion battery
supplied with the unit.
