ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Rear Tow Hitch (Option)
1.
Unfold and lower the field cultivator to the ground.
2.
Remove the 3/4-10 x 8-1/2 hex bolts and 3/4-10 lock
nuts from weight hitch plates
3.
Install the new additional weight hitch plate on top of
the existing plates and secure with 3/4-10 x 10-1/2
hex bolts and 3/4-10 lock nuts.
4.
Remove the cylinder pins from the rear fold cylinder
mount.
5.
Remove the rear fold bracket by removing the 5/8-11
x 3-11/16 x 5-1/2 u-bolts and 5/8-11 lock nuts.
6.
Slide the rear tow hitch assembly into place over the
top of the field cultivator frame, and attach the rear
tow hitch assembly to the rear bar of the cultivator
with 5/8-11 x 4-11/16 x 4-3/4 u-bolts and 5/8-11 lock
nuts. Leave the u-bolts loose until all other bolts have
been installed.
7.
Attach the front of the tow hitch assembly to the
cultivator frame cross tubes using 5/8-11 x 3-11/16 x
5-1/2 u-bolts and 5/8-11 lock nut.
8.
Center the rear tow hitch assembly on center frame
, tighten all u-bolts to secure hitch.
9.
Reinstall the rear cylinder fold mount and re-pin the
rear fold cylinders.
10.
Route the tandem light harness connector across the
rear frame bar to the right rear tail light. Unplug the
existing four-pin main wiring harness from the lighting
module. Connect the rear tow hitch harness between
the lighting module and the main wiring harness
and
for proper hose
and light harness routing.
11.
Route the rear tow hitch hydraulic hoses along with
the other hydraulic hoses along the right side of the
center frame to the front of the hitch.
12.
Secure the hoses & wiring to the frame using
tie-straps and hose clamps.
