Battery Replacement
a.
The battery operated acre counter uses 3 AA
batteries. The batteries should last between 5
and 10 years. The acre counter will last much
longer than that. Eventually, you will have to
replace the batteries. The acre counter will
display "LObAt" when the batteries require
replacement. Remove the acre counter from the
implement and undo the 4 screws on the back of
the case
This will separate the
housing from the rear plate. Replace the
batteries with 3 high quality AA alkaline batteries.
IMPORTANT
This unit is dust and splash resistant, under no
circumstances should this unit be submerged in any
conductive, corrosive, or flammable liquid.
7.
The acremeter is used to count shaft rotations and
for a given width calculate field acres and total acres.
Factors that can influence readings are mud on drive
wheels, low tire pressure, ground conditions, and
turning direction.
8.
The magnetic pickup distance between the switch
and magnet should not exceed 1/8". Distances
greater than 1/8" will not provide accurate
monitoring.
