General Meter Operation
It is possible to switch the meter between any one of its three modes of operation at any stage via
engineering tokens generated by the prepayment vending system.
Display and control functions common to all modes of operation are described in this section. Mode-
specific functions are described in subsequent sections.

Enter the 20 digit number
as it appears on the token,
into the meter via the
keypad.
An audible „beep‟ is heard
on each key press.
Incorrect entries can be
corrected with the
backspace key.
Incomplete number entries
will be cleared after 30
seconds.
After entering a complete,
valid number, the new
credit total is displayed.
