CA0556 Rotor Shaft Assembly

These instructions are for the 56" Aerator. See 

“CA0540 

Rotor Shaft Assembly” 

on page 9 for 48" Aerator and 

“CA0548 Rotor Shaft Assembly” 

on page 10 for 48" 

Aerator.

Refer to Figure 1-6:

1. Turn hitch and weight tray upside down and orient as 

shown. Position end panel (#1A) on the left end of the 

weight tray to begin assembly of the rotor shaft.

2. Insert rotor shaft (#5) in end panel (#1A)
3. Install 1" flat washer (#6A), gang assembly (#2A), 

1" flat washer (#6), spacer (#4), and second flat 

washer (#6) on rotor shaft (#5). 

4. Install gang assembly (#2B), 1" flat washer (#6), 

center support (#3), and second flat washer (#6) on 

the rotor shaft.

IMPORTANT: 

Make sure all gang assemblies (#2) 

are installed on rotor shaft (#5) with the open side of 

the spoons facing forward in rotation as shown.

5. Install gang assembly (#2C), 1" flat washer (#6), 

spacer (#4), and second flat washer (#6) on the rotor 

shaft.

6. Install gang assembly (#2D), 1" flat washer (#6), 

spacer (#4), and second flat washer (#6) on the rotor 

shaft.

7.

Install gang assembly (#2E), 1" flat washer (#6), 

center support (#3), and second flat washer (#6) on 

the rotor shaft.

8. Install gang assembly (#2F), 1" flat washer (#6), 

spacer (#4), and second flat washer (#6) on the rotor 

shaft.

9. Install gang assembly (#2G) and 1" flat washer (#6B) 

on the rotor shaft.

10. Install end panel (#1B) on the right end of the rotor 

shaft (#5).
