RC2512 Series 2 S/N Rotary Cutters 330-725M
Unfold Wing Decks
!
DANGER
To prevent serious injury or death:
1.
To ensure wings will unfold under their own weight,
unload cutter onto a flat, level, surface.
2.
Back tractor up close to the front of the cutter.
3.
Before dismounting tractor, put tractor in park or set
park brake, turn off tractor engine, and remove switch
key to prevent unauthorized starting.
4.
Connect hydraulic hose to tractor remote outlet. If
tractor has float option on one of the outlets, connect
hydraulic hose to that outlet.
Refer to Figure 1-2:
5.
Start tractor and raise center deck and both wings
fully up with tractor control lever.
6.
Turn tractor engine off, and remove switch key.

WARNING
To prevent serious injury or death:

Separate transport lock bars (#1 & #2) from each
other by removing bolt (#3).
8.
On the right-hand side, remove hairpin cotter (#4)
from storage pin (#5).
Refer to Figure 1-3:
9.
Rotate right wing transport lock bar (#1) up to storage
lug (#6). Secure with existing hairpin cotter (#4).
10. Repeat steps 8 and 9 for the left-hand wing transport
lock bar (#2) shown in Figure 1-2.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT SEPARATE TRANSPORT
LOCK BARS BOLTED BETWEEN WINGS UNTIL
AFTER HYDRAULIC HOOK-UP TO TRACTOR.
NOTE: Refer to
An overhead host
attached to the wing axles is recommended to assist
lowering wing decks safely.
NOTE: Refer to Figure 1-3:
A come-along may be
needed to pull wings together before wing transport
locks (#1 & #2) can be separated.

11. Return to the tractor seat and start tractor engine.
12. With tractor hydraulic control lever, lower center deck
and both wings until center deck cylinder is against
cylinder stroke stops and wings are fully down.

Attach recommended overhead hoist to wing axle in
this location before lowering the wing deck.
