The appliance does not
work.
The plug is not connected to
the power socket.
Insert the appliance plug into
a power socket.
“E1” appears on the
display.
The kettle was removed
from the base before the
boiling cycle had finished.
Put the kettle back on the
power base and switch it on
again.
“E2” appears on the
display.
Sensor malfunction.
The appliance cannot be used.
Disconnect it from the power
socket and contact the dealer.
“E3” appears on the

Faulty circuit.

Disconnect it from the power
socket and contact the dealer.
“E4” appears on the display.
The thermal cut-out tripped
because the appliance was
switched on without water.
Switch off the appliance,
disconnect it from the power
socket and let it cool down
before refilling it.
The water flow has slowed
down to nothing.
The filter cartridge was not
activated correctly.
Repeat the steps in the
“Preparing the filter cartridge”
paragraph.
Air bubbles may form
inside the filter cartridge,
preventing the water from
flowing properly.
Remove the filter, immerse it
in water and force the bubbles
out, then drain it and put it back
in the water tank.
Dark coloured residues
inside the jug.
The vegetable carbon in the
filter may release a small
amount of fine powder
(completely harmless).
Repeat the steps in the
“Preparing the filter cartridge”
paragraph.
