III. RIVING KNIFE FITTING
1. Fit the riving knife as Fig. 3-5.9 and tighten the suitable screw B .
Note: Make sure the riving knife is installed and aligned with the blade. To set the
riving knife correctly is very important.
2. For smooth operation, the distance of riving knife to the tooth of saw blade must
no exceed 8mm, it has to be approx. 3mm higher . (Fig. 3-5.9a)
