
START-UP AND USE
FIRST USE
*
When unpacking the appliance, take care to remove and
check all packing for parts as well as packets and additional
packing information.
*
Make sure that no parts or accessories are missing or defective.
*
Fully unwind the cable and carefully examine it before use.
*
Before using the appliance, clean the cooking surface and the drip
tray thoroughly with soapy water to remove any impurities from
the packaging. Dry thoroughly.
*
A new appliance may smoke and/or give off an odour when used
for the first time. To reduce the chance of smoking or odour, it is
recommended to allow the appliance to heat for
10
minutes and
then cool for approximately
30
minutes before the first use.
START-UP AND OPERATION
*
Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.
*
The device is suitable for outside use. It can be used inside under
an extraction hood.
*
Place the drip tray (see Image
1
) on the front of the appliance.
*
Put the control button on the minimum setting and then connect
the connector to the rear of the product, making sure that it is
fully inserted (see Image
2
).
*
Then, connect the cable to the mains supply and turn the control
button to the maximum setting.
*
Let your Plancha preheat for
5
to
10
minutes.
*
Once your appliance is preheated, adjust the thermostat to the
position of your choice and leave the food to cook until it has
been cooked to the desired extent.
*
NB: Do not cut anything directly on top of the plate or you will
run the risk of damaging the non-stick coating.
*
If you want to use the juice in the drip tray while the appliance
is on, all you have to do is carefully take hold of the two handles
on the ends of the drip tray and then pour the juice into a bowl
using the pouring spout.
STOPPING THE DEVICE
*
To turn off the appliance, turn the thermostat down to the
lowest setting.
*
Wait for your appliance to cool before unplugging the power cord
then the appliance connection block.
