How to cook with a pressure cooker :
1.- Before using the pressure cooker for the first time, pour in 1 liter of milk and 3 liters of water
and boil for 5 minutes without the cover. Next, drain the pressure cooker and wash it well.
By doing this, you will prevent the container from getting stained.
2.- Never fill the pressure cooker past 2/3 capacity, because the valves may get blocked when
cooking and when the valve goes down, food will come out along with steam that will get
everything in its path dirty.
Opening System:
Proceed in the following way:
1.- To open the pot, be sure that the heat source is turned off. Remove the rotating valve
support/counterweight, slightly untightening it to the left, until dislodging it.
NOTE: DO NOT SUBMERGE THE POT IN WATER
2.- Once we are sure there is no pressure inside, turn the center knob counter-clockwise until the
bridge descends onto the cover..
3.- Lift the cover until dislodging it and pull it to one side to remove it.
Cooking:
1.- Place the pot on the stove.
NOTE: Keep in mind that the material of the body is aluminum, and can only be used
with a gas stove.
2.- When the rotating pressure valve/counterweight start to turn, letting steam escape from the exit
valves, reduce the heat until the rotating pressure valve/counterweight slowly turn or stop letting
a small amount of steam escape.
NOTE: Cooking times are only counted after the time the rotating pressure
valve/counterweight start to turn.
Depressurization :
This process may be done through any of the following procedures:
1.- Let the pot slowly cool down. (The food will continue cooking for a few more minutes).
2.- Place the pot under cold running water.
3.- Press the rotating pressure valve/counterweight vertically and let the steam inside the pot
escape.
