INFORMATION
Connecting Electrical Power :
On terminal block at the rear of the appliance. Use flexible cord in accordance with standard N.E.C.,
AINSI/NEMA 70-1996 or latest edition (no cord provided).
Use a 4-wire rated for 15-30 A 125/250 VAC, type SRD, SRDT, S, SO or ST. See power specification chart for
your model (Table 2).
If necessary, use a 3-wire grounded cord rated for 15-30 A 250 VAC. The equipotential bonding terminal (
D
in
Figure 11) must be connected to a suitable ground. A 14# wire jumper may be added between the neutral and
ground terminals on the terminal block (Figure 10).
Remove access door

(Figure 7, two gas ovens) or
C
(Figure 8, gas and electric ovens).
Connect the cord to the terminal block in accordance with figures 9 & 10. Tighten
all
screws on the terminal block.
The terminals will accept 10# bare wire maximum.
Refit the access door.
No liability can be accepted for accidents resulting
from wiring for the wrong voltage or amperage or
incorrect grounding. Connect the equipotential
bonding terminal [chassis ground] (

11), located under the storage drawer.
