Operating the Hopper Bucket

The following sections will describe operational safety procedures and controls of the hopper bucket.

Hydraulic Power Supply

This vehicle has two (2) hydraulic hoses that supply the hydraulic power of the vehicle to fixed
containers (see Figure 4-9). A container control lever is located on the right-hand side of the swivel
arm (see Figure 4-8). Both hoses should be connected to the container before operating this lever.
After unloading a container into the hopper bucket, both hoses must be disconnected from the
container and rolled up on the swivel arm.
